My session fee is $195, and sessions are 50 minutes.

I am currently an “out-of-network provider” meaning I do not file insurance on the behalf of clients, nor do I contract with insurance companies for their negotiated rate.   

I can provide clients with a coded receipt of their charges and payments (called a superbill) upon request.  Clients are responsible for filing for reimbursement with an insurance company if they choose. Clients are responsible for payment of full fee at the time of service.  

If you wish to use your behavioral health benefits, it is encouraged that you call your insurance company to understand exactly what your out-of-network benefits are.  Please check the back of your insurance card for relevant phone numbers. Below are some specific questions that may beneficial to ask:

• Do I have mental health benefits for outpatient mental health visits? 
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• Is pre-certification required? 
• How much will I be reimbursed for an individual session (code #90834) with an out-of-network provider?
• If they say they cover a percentage of the “usual and customary rate,” ask what their usual and customary rate is for a session with a licensed clinical social worker..
• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
• What are the limits of my coverage with an out-of-network provider?

Yes, I am typically able to accept cards or checks associated with your health savings account.

Yes.  I only work with adults of all ages.  If you need a referral for a child or adolescent, I am happy to help.  

Yes, I am able to offer secure Telehealth appointments for clients based in the state of Tennessee.
